Peanut found a ribbon that was used in my hair back when I skated. It was in my bathroom drawer and she found it when I was getting ready one morning. She decided that the ribbon was a jump rope (I have no idea where she learned about jump ropes, because we've never talked about them before and do not own one...maybe Sesame Street?). Her idea of jump rope is holding the ribbon and jumping around on the floor all over the house. It's pretty funny and very cute.
She also has been trying to play hide and seek, but she doesn't really understand that either. She "hides" objects and then "looks" a few places (saying is it there? nope...) - usually the ceiling, in her play car, and behind the tv, and then "finds" the object exactly where she placed it. Repeat repeat repeat. With exactly the same object and the same locations. Hysterical. She laughs and laughs, and so do I.
Toddlerhood is so entertaining, she is learning new things every day!
One more new thing - asking "what is that?" 10,000 times per day, even when she knows the answer. Oh the joys of endless questions!
