We are having a fantastic time celebrating Valentine's Day this year, even though we're keeping things pretty low key. It's so fun to celebrate with a kiddo that gets excited for all the festivities.
Last night we celebrated with my in-laws, and they brought over some candy, finger puppets, a book, and finger paints, along with a few other gifts. Peanut had a blast with the finger paints and loved all of the attention.
So far today, she's opened up some stickers and hair accessories from her daddy and me. We did an art project this morning with the stickers, she played dress up with her new bows and hair clips, and now she's enjoying a "bubble" bath. A bath where I blew bubbles at her in the tub and she tried to catch them while giggling like crazy. So much fun. After the bath we're making chocolate chip cookies and taking Valentine's Day photos. Then I think she's going to have a swim date with my mom later.
Tonight the three of us are having a "dinner-in" date - grabbing take-out from somewhere local and enjoying dinner without the crowds. I'm excited :). We hope you're having a fantastic Valentine's Day as well!
