My goodness...I get the feeling that this fast paced, crazy busy schedule is only the beginning. Things have been rough around here the past few weeks. Rough, but I still feel very blessed. I'm really not trying to complain about the difficulty, just document it to remember later.
Since I last posted...
We took a family vacation to Mackinac Island which was very fun. It was for K's wedding and it was absolutely gorgeous.
Peanut had a fantastic swim lesson. She participated the entire time, and did a great job. Kicking, scooping with her hands, putting her face in, blowing bubbles, etc.
Little guy started rolling! As soon as we put him down on the carpet he flips from his back to his belly. He also is starting to try to crawl, but right now that just involves putting weight on his feet and sticking his rear end up in the air.
Little guy also loves toys now. His favorites are the squishy ball that he can hold onto because of all the holes in it, the giraffe (his first favorite), and the plastic set of keys.
Peanut has had a few play dates and is getting better at playing with her friends rather than just next to them. We have another play date that we plan to schedule this week at our house.
Little guy has not been sleeping well. At all. I am insanely tired...I should be going to bed now since he actually went down to sleep tonight but it's nice having a little me time without a kid on me.
Coming up we have Peanut's third birthday party (how is she turning three already!), Halloween, and lots of family birthdays to celebrate. I also need to get a head start on Christmas shopping. Ahhh!
