We decided that when little guy was born, we were going to get Peanut
a bicycle as her big sister present from her new baby brother. We
finally went to get it last weekend, and she absolutely loves it. She
picked the strawberry shortcake bicycle and the Disney princess helmet.
She has been wearing the helmet around our house for the past week and
asks to ride her bike every chance she gets. She's pretty good at it,
actually. She can pedal on her own now, although she has trouble
steering at the same time. It has been a great bonding activity - she's
ridden with me, daddy, and grandma m.
This weekend was
little guy's baptism and it went really well. Everyone came to the
church this morning and then to our house for brunch after - eggs,
bacon, yogurt parfaits, fruit, donut holes, and bagels. We also had
cake. I like that big sister was baptized January 2 and little brother was baptized June 2 :).
